About the Event
Gifted storyteller Lisa Schneidau will be leading two story sessions for children of all ages - and the young at heart - of about 50 mins. This first one at 2.00pm will be a walk with a difference, discovering wild flowers and trees and hearing folk tales about them, using Keble Martin’s Flora as a guide. You will never look at Woodbury’s Cricket Field in the same way again!
This is a short version of a similar event Lisa ran a couple of years ago at a Keble Martin celebration in Great Torrington, where he was formerly vicar.
This will be followed by a second story walk focussing on apple and orchard stories.

During the afternnon, between 1.30-4.30, there will be an apple juicing demonstration. So do bring your own apples to juice, if you have some. Bring a picnic if you wish to, and a cup for tasting the juice.
Entry is free but we would be grateful for a donation towards the cost. Places are limited, however, so please register for each session separately so we have an idea of numbers. Please dress for the weather as it will go ahead regardless. The ground is uneven in places.
Stagecoach bus 56/56A or parking on site.
